Contact Berrien County Records Offices

Berrien County Busted Mugshots is a private reference service, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, retrieve an official booking record, or change a court file. Contact the agency that created the record for a current answer.

Where to Ask for Berrien Records

The Berrien County Sheriff's Office and jail are the first contacts for county custody, booking sheets, and an existing booking photograph. The sheriff's operational address is different from the county administration address. Use the details below, and call before visiting because procedures, fees, and custodians can change.

There is no verified dedicated BCSO booking-photo form or local photo fee schedule. Ask for the current records custodian and the accepted written-request method. A focused request should name the person, approximate booking date, arresting agency, booking sheet, and original photograph, and should include the affirmation required by O.C.G.A. ยง 35-1-19.

  • For a person believed to be in custody or booked recently, start with the official-linked Berrien booking portal and then call the jail for a time-sensitive confirmation.
  • For a Nashville incident report, contact Nashville Police Department at 1406 Saddle Club Lane, Nashville, GA, 229-686-6558. Its listed office hours are 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.; after-hours officer service is dispatched through 911.
  • For an Enigma incident report, route the request through the Town of Enigma at 569 Main Street, Enigma, GA 31749, 229-533-4185, and ask for the current police records custodian. No online form or fee schedule was verified.
  • For a Ray City incident report, use the current police and city contact at 8151 Main Street, Ray City, GA 31645, 229-455-2501, or its Open Records Request page. The page showed no visible form, fee, submission method, or turnaround at research time.
  • For a warrant, first appearance, or bond question, contact Berrien Magistrate Court, 201 N. Davis Street, Suite 250, Nashville, GA 31639, 229-686-7019, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
  • For a filed case, order, or disposition, contact the Berrien Superior Court Clerk at 201 N. Davis Street, Room 230, Nashville, GA 31639, 229-686-5506, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
  • For a sentenced state prisoner, use the Georgia Department of Corrections query. For federal or immigration custody, use the BOP locator or ICE locator, which answer different questions and do not provide a public booking-photo gallery.

For general records law, the Georgia Open Records Act requires production or a written response within three business days when the record is available, subject to exemptions and reasonable costs. BCSO's statement that some incident and accident reports are available for pickup at no charge does not establish the fee for a booking sheet or photograph.
