Information You Choose to Send
Search entries
A name, location, or other term entered into a search widget is passed to the third-party provider that operates that tool. Berrien County Busted Mugshots does not store or log those search terms on its own end.
Messages and contact requests
Email and contact messages are kept as needed to read and answer the request. They are not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law or needed to protect rights, safety, or the service.
Technical Data Collected on Visits

- Browser name, version, and related settings.
- Device type and operating system.
- Pages viewed and the time spent on each page.
- The referring site, when a referral is supplied.
- Request dates, times, and related log timestamps.

Cookies may help understand how visitors use the pages or support a feature. Browser settings can block or delete cookies. Some functions may act differently when cookies are disabled.

Links and Outside Providers

Each destination controls its own collection, retention, security, and privacy practices once a visitor follows the link.
Advertising partners may use their own technologies to measure activity across sites or select interest-based advertising. Those activities occur on the partners' systems under their policies, not under the control of Berrien County Busted Mugshots.

Visitors Under Eighteen
The service is intended for adults. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under eighteen. If a minor sent information, a parent or guardian may use the contact route to ask that it be removed.
Choices About Your Data
Subject to applicable law and reasonable verification, a visitor may ask about information connected with a contact interaction or request a correction. Available choices include:
- Request a copy of personal data held in an identifiable contact record.
- Point out inaccurate information and ask for a correction.
